With over 18 years of culinary experience, our Executive Chef Danielle Szarek brings a wealth of expertise, creativity, and passion to the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes.
She began her culinary journey in Freehold Boro, New Jersey, where she graduated in 2012 from the renowned Five Star Café, a four-year high school culinary program. She then refined her skills at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, earning her Associate Degree in Culinary Arts in 2014.
Classically French-trained under three distinguished chefs, her career launched at the prestigious Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Florida, where she worked at Narcoossee’s, a premier seafood restaurant. From there, she returned to New Jersey to join the exclusive Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club. Over eight years, she advanced through the ranks from Garde Manger Chef—creating elaborate cold displays and wedding presentations—to Banquet Chef and eventually À la Carte Chef, serving members and owners with refined, personalized dishes.
In April 2024, she joined the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes as Executive Sous Chef, quickly distinguishing herself through leadership, precision, and dedication. Now, as Executive Chef, she leads our culinary team with the same commitment to excellence that has defined her career.
