Myrtle Beach Marathon March 2 – 4, 2017

When you’re visiting the Grand Strand the first weekend in March, you might notice a lot more running shoes being worn rather than flip-flops. That’s because Myrtle Beach is hosting the 20^th Anniversary Myrtle Beach Marathon. The event runs from March 2^nd through 4^th, 2017 and includes a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay, Grande Dunes 5K and Family Fun Run. The Myrtle Beach Marathon always draws a large crowd, so if you’re planning on participating, it’s best to get a jump-start on planning your weekend. Marathon Events at the Grande Dunes Marina

Two events will take place at the Grande Dunes Marina which is just steps from the Marina Inn. The Grande Dunes Marina is the location for the Myrtle Beach Marathon Kick-Off party on Friday, March 3^rd from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm to get participants pumped up and excited for the big run. There will be live beach music, a pre-race pasta dinner, and fireworks to kick-off the exciting weekend! The Grande Dunes 5K will also take place on Friday, March 5^th at 7 pm. If you’re participating in either of these events you are in the best location when you book your weekend with us.
